Every year I shoot an end of summer session with my girls who spend the summer with us in Kansas City with Love. They live full time with their mom in sunny Florida. Since we usually do not purchase school pictures John and I love the idea of taking our own pictures of the girls as they grow.

This year was pretty cool because our girls are growing UP…LITERALLY! The oldest is styling her own hair and picking her own clothing. Our smallest one isn’t quite there yet but she is choosing the colors she likes.

We have lived in Blue Springs for two years now so the first couple of years we did the session in a park around the corner from our home, but this year we ventured out to the big city…KANSAS CITY I have never seen them so comfortable and happy to be walking around downtown. I got some pretty genuine smiles and the art around the city kept smiles on their faces.
