When we arrived at The Elms Hotel it was weirdly calm. I am no fan of ghosts but I had heard a few stories about this place.  I was greeted by a busy room of women getting ready and laughing. When I saw Jena she was having her hair done. She seemed so calm. After her hair was finished she began to tell me the story of how she and her best friend thought the room was haunted. It was almost Halloween so she may have been pulling my leg. Either way it sounded scary and I did want to be anywhere near the rooms after dark.

After everyone finished getting ready we ventured outside to the ceremony space for the first look. It was so emotional. We paused a few times before Jena walked over to her groom and greeted him with a hug. After their sweet moment we ran into a huge bridal party and stopped for pictures of the two parties together as they shared the same wedding day. The ceremony was officiated by Jena’s brother and was a mix of emotions and laughter. He was the perfect addition to this day. The reception felt like a huge 90’s party as all of their guests danced to 90’s rock and Hip Hop.
