Hi friends, it’s blog time! This year I decided that when John and I travel I will only be bringing my film cameras along with us. I feel like I don’t pick up my film camera enough and also I want to be present in our vacations while still perfecting my film skills. A few weeks ago we ventured out to Hot Springs, Arkansas for a few days. I just love this little city and couldn’t wait to capture all of it’s beauty on film. I used my Nikon F100 for this trip. I was so nervous because it was a partly cloudy day but that still made for some great photographs.
Hot Springs is famous for it’s natural baths and hot springs. The springs are really hot to the touch and you can still use the baths today. John and I toured the baths last year and this is when I fell in love with the small city as a whole. During the day you might see people filling up water jugs from the springs to take home. We didn’t do that this time, but I plan on filling my own jug on our next visit just to see what all the hype is about.
I hope you enjoy traveling through our film lenses. Come back soon for more travel!
I can’t believe this is Hot Springs!! It’s so beautiful! I would have never guessed that this is what it looks like out there.
