The Umscheid wedding was full of excitement leading up to the day (Don’t remember the engagement session that Whimsically Wed featured? See it HERE). Kim and Jake are sweet, happy and completely in love! The wedding and reception took place at a new venue in Kansas City called Union Event Space. The morning of the wedding day, it was warm and windy and we were expecting rain. This Midwest weather hasn’t been the nicest but it was pretty great for this day.

These two were surrounded by so many people that loved them, it was amazing. Jake’s best man wrote the coolest speech I think I have ever heard and Kim’s step dad chose the sweetest memories to share of Kim with their family and friends. Emily and Ryan with E+R Events planned this day and did an absolute fabulous job with all of the details and heavy lifting!

One of the memories I have of these two is their laugh and how infectious it is. They spent the entire day full of smiles and happily in love. This took me back to our first meeting and their engagement session. Kim and Jake, we wish you a lifetime of happiness and much success as you move to Kansas to start your lives together.
