Breanne + Cortez have been one of my favorite couples to photograph over the years and their wedding weekend was the most beautiful weekend ever. We had a mild wind storm during the wedding day, but nothing these two couldn’t handle. To start the day of the rehearsal, we ran down to the St. Louis Museum of Art for a quick session before the actual dinner began. The rehearsal dinner was set in the backyard of Breanne’s aunt’s home, it reminded me of a small town in upstate NY. The house was dripped in flowers, had a colonial feel to it and the lawn had the cutest little green shed along with a lush looking English Garden. We were welcomed by King, the couple’s bernedoodle, and a few of the guests that had already arrived. We loved being there to celebrate these two throughout the weekend and the wedding was just the icing on the cake, the cherry on top…or however the saying goes…LOL.
My favorite part of this backyard rehearsal dinner was the feel of Summer that these two created. I love looking back at these images that remind me of a warm Summer sunset filled with friends and great food. Come back here for more on the blog!
