Things have been busy over in our office lately. 2017 was a whirlwind of a year and we want to share with you our year in review! We had a few weddings in the Spring and early Summer and then I traveled to The Signature Atelier in France in July. Immediately after I returned John and I jumped back into the wedding season. A few weeks later I traveled to California for work and while I was there I booked a Desert anniversary session.

The rest of our Summer and Fall wedding season was pretty busy.  When we finished out our wedding season we immediately went into transitioning to the off season.  We made time to focus on the things we lacked in 2017 and took a much needed break to spend time together. If your husband doesn’t shoot with you, then you know the separation is real. Most times I felt like we worked together all the time but didn’t get a chance to actually be together because work took priority. Another great thing about our off season was, I had the chance to second shoot with some good friends in the business so I could rejuvenate a little. We also put together a few styled shoots that were absolutely beautiful! Isn’t the bride’s dress gorgeous?

The Signature Atelier really helped me gather my thoughts and step outside of my comfort zone in my artistry. I purchased a Pentax 645n and I have just fallen in love. If it wasn’t for The Signature Atelier workshop, I would not have known where to go next because I felt like I was becoming stagnant in our business.  I didn’t want to have that feeling with our new brides. So i decided to spend more time with my Pentax and get a completely new website redesign.

We would like to thank ALL of our 2017 couples, last year was amazing and the experiences we received were ones we will cherish for lifetime.  John and I are looking forward to 2018 in it’s entirety. We can’t wait to share with you what we’ve been working on and we can’t wait for you to see our new website!
