On Liliana and Javier’s wedding day it rained 8 minutes before Liliana was supposed to walk down the aisle! All I remember is John and I setting up for the ceremony at Adam’s Pointe Golf Club and the rain just came pouring down. All of the guests went running for cover! Liliana and Javier tried to wait it out but decided a few minutes into the storm to have the ceremony indoors.
Before the rain started we took advantage of the sunshine and had family formal portraits on the back deck. After the ceremony, the rain had begun to tapper off and the 4 of us drove around the golf course for bride and groom portraits and let me tell you they were absolutely beautiful! My favorite part of this wedding was the way the couple looked at each other, the toasts (Liliana’s brother had me in tears), and the send off!
I was surprised to see that Liliana and Javier were in such great spirits despite all the rain. The reception was a huge party filled with dancing and laughter. When it was time to send the two off, an LED balloon send off is how the chose to say goodnight. It was the coolest ever! Scroll down to view the day and to also check out the balloons. We especially loved how happy everyone was!
Liliana and Javier, thank you for allowing us to capture your wedding day! We think the world of you two and wish you a lifetime of bliss. We look forward to seeing you both in front of our lens for your 1st anniversary!

I have never been to Adam’s Pointe for a wedding, but after this I would love to! They don’t look bothered by the rain at all, what a fun couple!
What a gorgeous Adams Point Golf Club Wedding! I agree…the way they looked at each other was so sweet! I love when couples don’t let things they can’t control stress them out or ruin heir day. No one can control the weather so you just have to go with it. You did such an amazing job capturing their day for them. You are a talented KC wedding photographer.
I don’t think I’ve seen a prettier Adams Pointe Golf Club wedding. The ombre bridesmaids dresses were so on point with current fashion. Lovely!
