Wedding & Anniversary Film Photography

Sam + Cody spotted me at the wedding of their friends Lydia + Jordan (want to see that wedding click HERE), and a few months after the Weber wedding they set up a meeting with us for their wedding.

We met with these two and Sam’s mom at a coffee shop in the Crossroads. I instantly loved Sam’s mom, she was so sweet and warm. After the initial meeting the two traveled back to Virginia where they were both living for school. A few months after we met, Sam + Cody moved to New Mexico and adopted their first dog together, which you’ll get to see in this session.

Sam + Cody’s pup Juniper was the star of the show. For a few minutes during our session she managed to chase a squirrel and leave our sights. I was personally freaking out because I hate to lose pets, but Sam was too calm and knew Juniper would come back to us. After about 5 minutes she came right back to us, so we made sure to keep treats handy so she would remain close.

The location of this shoot was beautiful. If you know my style, then you know I am a sucker for pillars. It brings such a strong foundation to the image. The correlation for me and pillars and foundations has always been the foundation of a strong relationship and a strong marriage.

What I love about this couple is how open and fun they were. We literally talked about everything to rappers, tv shows, and clothing. You name it, it was a subject during our session and I couldn’t have appreciated it more. Thanks Sam, Cody and Juniper, my team and I cannot wait for the wedding day in September at The Bride and The Bauer.
