Remember Lauren and Shane from their engagement session at KU? See it here if you missed it! Our sweet KU Couple got married at the Webster House on June 3. It was a brunch style wedding that we absolutely loved. We started the day a bit earlier than most because most of the formal wedding was to be finished by 3PM. I had never been to the Aladdin Hotel and was excited to meet Lauren and her ladies there. Hair and makeup was already underway when I arrived. The suite that they were all getting ready in was decorated to match Lauren’s wedding theme.

The guys were getting ready at Lauren and Shane’s home, they were pretty easy going and excited about the upcoming celebration. After everyone finished getting ready, we met at the Webster House for the ceremony. The ceremony went off without a hitch. There was some laughter from the vows that Lauren and Shane prepared because they had their own flavor to them. They were the cutest little words. Lauren and Shane were married by her Aunt, I am sure this meant a lot to her because she grew up with her aunt as a child.

After the ceremony was complete it was time for brunch and the food smelled great. Lauren and Shane were able to sneak in a few bites before going a round to greet their guests. The day of coordinator brought out the cake that was Jay Hawk decorated and the pair went up to cut their cake. I fell in love with this sweet little cake, it was the cutest!

We finished the day off hanging out at Union Station and then we popped over to Kauffman Performing Arts Center for a few couples images. We are so excited that we were able to serve this couple. Congratulations you two, we wish you a lifetime of happiness! Stay tuned to Lininger Rood for more weddings like this one on the blog!
