Wedding & Anniversary Film Photography

Trying to find your couple for their engagement session at the WWI museum can be hard when temps are below freezing plus the addition of dozens of people walking around. Colleen and Sherrick chose this amazing place because two of their moments happened here. This was the place that Sherrick asked Colleen to be his girlfriend and then later on down the road, he asked her to be his wife!

There was no doubt that winter temperatures were upon us when we met for the engagement session, but the three of us talked through all the cold. It was so much fun to learn about these two and their wedding day. Sherrick is a soccer coach and Colleen is a teacher, so between those schedules, we were running pretty fast to get this session in before the year came to a close.

My favorite part of the day with these two was just watching them together. Whenever I would walk away to frame a shot, Sherrick would pull Colleen in extremely close to him because it was just unbearable cold. I loved how he would check in with her to see if she needed anything or if she had frost bite yet!

Colleen and Sherrick, we can’t wait for your Summer wedding next year to offset these cold temps. Happy New year everyone, come back HERE to see more from the blog and in July when these two tie the knot!
