I met Rachel on a sunny day in Overland Park to discuss wedding details. She was very friendly. I think we almost talked about everything but the wedding at first! One week later was the date we decided to do their Legler Barn Sunrise Engagement Session. I was super excited because I have been trying to talk some of my brides into doing a sunrise session with me but most couples shy away from the idea because it is a bit too early. Luckily, Rachel is an early riser!

We met at Legler Barn Museum at 6:30AM. The shoot was beyond amazing. I don’t think there was more than two seconds of silence as we all walked around choosing places for them to stand or sit. Sometimes I am a little nervous with grooms because some of them don’t really like to have their picture taken. So I usually bring my husband along so he can help me break the ice (and he doubles as my second shooter!). Jacob was just as talkative and made us laugh A LOT!

All around this couple is fun, loving and sweet. Their wedding is going to be on October 1st at the Riverfront Community Center in Leavenworth, Kansas. Congratulations you two!!! See you both in October!
