Life brings so many changes, and we have a few of our own that I’d like to share with you.

John moved two weeks ago out of the state and while it wasn’t the easiest of decisions, it was one we couldn’t change. His move pushed me to relocate closer to my day job’s city, Leavenworth, KS. I walked around the downtown area and grabbed a few shots to share with you. I have the cutest, coziest and most amazingly artistic apartment here.

The light coming in during sunrise gives me so much inspiration, and it’s the reason I chose to live here. I actually came looking for places and the attendant showed me the model apartment. After seeing it, I immediately put a deposit down because the amount of energy and creativity I felt coming thru the windows was something I wasn’t willing to pass up!

The city is small and reminds me of an old western movie or tv series. The first weekend that I lived here, I went to the Farmer’s Market. It was one of the smallest market’s I had been to in a while but it was well worth the experience.

For now, it’s just me and my intern, taking my weddings by storm. I get to formally introduce her in just a few weeks so stay tuned for that. Until then, here’s a look into the first city of Kansas, oh yeah I am a Kansas resident now!
