Wedding & Anniversary Film Photography

Filed in : Family, Film

It has been such an honor for other photographers to inquire with me about sessions in film for their families or personal headshot sessions. Lately I have been so excited when my friends in the industry ask me to photograph them, mainly because it has been a dream of mine to be asked but most importantly, it feels good for others to love what they see in my portfolio (insert the blush face here!) as much as I love their work!

Another win for me is that the Midwest is loving film, if you didn’t know, the film lab that I use (Goodman Film Lab) and love so much is owned by a man who is from Joplin, Missouri. I’m not too sure how involved he is with Goodman Film Lab, but I heard from the Techs that they are pretty happy to see emerging film photographers out of the state that the owner hails from!

So when Sarah contacted me for a session, she specifically mentioned how she had been adoring our Instagram and website for a while and was dying to get a family session done on film. You all know I am not big on family sessions, but I couldn’t resist. I adore this family so much and specifically fell in love with how cute they are together. They were fun and didn’t seem to be bothered by the heat or all the walking, my kind of couple!

To the Reeves family- I am looking forward to many more sessions and a few Summer night talks about photography, film and ministry. I adored every second with you three and can’t wait to see you again soon! If you want to check out the beautiful imagery that these two capture, be sure to click HERE. Come back for more on the blog soon!
