Wedding & Anniversary Film Photography

For those of you who don’t know, I am a New York girl that was born in Colorado. I don’t know much about the state because my family moved when I was a baby, but I have always been fascinated by the mountains and the wonder of Colorado as a whole.

Amanda Berube invited me out on a trip in July to visit, but sadly I couldn’t go. A few weeks later I was able to finally visit and we had the best few days in Vail. Amanda knows all the best places to go and took me to so many secret spots. Everyday was an adventure, this trip absolutely fueled my soul!

When we arrived in Vail, we stayed in an Airbnb around the Lion’s Head Ski Resort. It reminded me of an old German town with a few French touches. The people were extremely nice and the weather was beautiful.

Eagle’s Loop Trail was up the ski lift and took roughly ten minutes or more to make it up there. There are wedding spaces on the top of the mountain, since Amanda is a Colorado wedding photographer, she gave me all the dibs on them. I could only imagine photographing a wedding in some of those spaces because of how beautiful they are. The mountain backdrop is one that people will never forget.

You’ll get to put eyes on me in this section—my hair was made for mountain air, it was PERFECT up there…I digress… 😛

One the Third day, Amanda and I headed up another mountain to Piney River Ranch. The drive up was a long one but it was totally worth every second once we reached the top. The views around the ranch were incredible! I talked Amanda into one of the longest non-military hike’s I had ever been on, but we made it to the waterfall, which also served as the finish line. She killed the hike and is no stranger to them living in this area!

Thanks Amanda for taking these incredible images of me and for showing me around your state, you’re such an amazing photographer and friend!
