Happy Thanksgiving to all of our friends and family! This year and even the one before last was a hard one, but life goes on am I right? I have had such great reasons to be thankful. The friendships that I have made in my personal and professional life has been one that has brought me out of so many trying times.

Meet Nicole and her girls Carmen and Riley. This shoot was a little more than happenstance because I was supposed to take photos of just the girls in front of this beautiful lush corn field…the day that we chose I was running late from work and it got too dark, I called Nicole to tell her that we can reschedule for tomorrow and she happily agreed. When tomorrow came, Nicole went home early that day to find the field freshly plowed. I was devastated that I couldn’t just walk away from work to photograph them.

I think we made up for it with the pumpkin Patch that we chose not too far from where we live. I also found a model in Riley because she was down for all the walking and even told Nicole that they should have worn neutral colored dresses…YES…where has this little model been all my life.
